Finally as I entered the now slightly dry house we left that weekend, it seems chaos did arrive and lost nearly everything. My books, certain furnitures were flipped over or smashed. DVDs scattered, CD cases smashed next to the DVDs on the floor, covered by muck. Though as I navigate through the wreckage and a collapsed refrigerator, my room was also a mess. My bed is gone, though its only the mattress, its still gone. I thank myself that I placed my few novels and books up above a cabinet. The few things that survived the flood.
I thank a few of my friends who gave me time and visited my house and helped with the clean up. You helped a lot, I'm deeply indebted to you guys.
Now as the next harrowing crisis of my household has surfaced that our laundry needs to be done, since the supply of clean clothes are running out. I asked my friends and they allowed me to do it there. Though I doubt they will dry immediately since it is uncertain for how long the sun shines in the week, since they are talking about of an incoming storm, again.
Now I'm semi-stranded in the house of Neon, a friend of mine. My family moved to a cousin's house, I wasn't with them this week since I was at a friend's place doing the laundry, communications have been difficult since I now have a barely running cellphone.
As I write this, I feel more worried with you guys out there, braving through the storm, or recovering from what happened. I'm relieved of those people who are unscathed by the storm. Those who got hit, then I hope I can help you anyway I can.
